Basic Criteria

LIAT will consider your request on a commercial basis providing it is:

Beneficial to the further development of the community and by extension impacting positively on the people of the region.
Beneficial to our customers, staff, company and shareholders.
A natural link with our business.
Compliments our commercial strategy to further support the Caribbean.
Received within the agreed time restrictions. Proposals must be received 6 months before the event.

Our Positioning

To help you understand our positioning, it is important you share our vision and focus so we work together towards similar goals. LIAT seeks to:

Connect the people of the Caribbean with a safe, reliable and friendly service.
Provide links through our partnerships to enable others to experience the Caribbean's culture, heritage, cuisine, environment and hospitality.
Bring the islands of the Caribbean closer together and the world closer to the Caribbean.

Therefore, we believe it is our responsibility to:

Develop, implement and communicate our commitment to the community and region through the charities, events and organizations we sponsor and support.

Omissions

LIAT receives an overwhelming volume of requests for assistance from our 21 territories, other regional and international markets each year and the requests far outweigh our ability and resources to positively respond to each query.

LIAT will accept and consider those proposals meeting the requirements imposed except those which are within the following categories or related areas:

Non-specific fundraising projects or appeals.
Organizations' private functions or promotions (e.g. dinners & dances, company trips, in-house travel fairs, travel agencies' promotional usage, etc.).
Individuals, including requests for medical or study costs or travel to attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars etc.
Charitable projects in markets where we do not have a presence and cannot account for this activity.
Domestic sporting events.
Domestic sports teams. *
Domestic conferences.
Schools, colleges & universities. *
Domestic pageants & related delegates.
Parties, fetes, band fetes, calypso tents, cruises, other social entertainment activities, whether of a public or private nature or any individual associated with the same.*
Political or military organizations.
Organizations pursuing sectarian policies or religious institutions.
Start-up organizations and first-time events.

* These may be considered for discounted fares at our Special Services Groups Desk for large groups exceeding 20 pax and traveling regionally.
