Match Ready! That's how LIAT is describing its alliance with this year's Stanford 20/20 Cricket tournament organisers. The parties have come together to forge an agreement that will see LIAT provide the airlift of all the Teams participating in the prestigious regional tournament.
According to LIAT's Director Scheduling and Special Projects, Lesroy Browne, who has lead responsibility for this initiative, "LIAT with its coverage of 21 islands in the archipelago, is best poised to handle the extensive travel required towards achieving a successful event. We are pleased that the promoters of the increasingly popular Caribbean tournament have chosen to enter into this arrangement with us."
The project team for this airlift programme also comprise: the Antigua Station Manager, Andrew Blanchard and Scheduling Officer, Dale Stoute. In addition, as part of the transaction one of LIAT's Duty Managers in Antigua, David Isaac, has been assigned to work on a full time basis as the liaison officer at the Stanford 20/20 office in Antigua.
